Carillon Beach, FL

Carillon Beach started as a typical beachside community, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and white sandy beaches. However, New Orleans architect Lloyd Vogt had other plans to make Carillon Beach the unique community it is today. 

Using his passion for history and his knowledge of urbanism, Vogt planned the layout of Carillon Beach around Lake Carillon and the Carillon Bell Tower. The homes on Carillon Beach are consistent with the Carillon style, but each one is unique, and no two homes are alike.  

Dining and Shopping in Downtown Carillon

Designed similar to the French Quarter in New Orleans, the cobblestone streets and private courtyards of Downtown Carillon and Market Street provide the perfect atmosphere for residents to shop and dine. 

Residents and visitors love to socialize and dine around the Carillon fountain, located in the Central Plaza. Don’t be surprised if there happens to be a wedding going on while you’re out shopping- Downtown Carillon is a trendy wedding venue. 

Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, an iced latte, breakfast, lunch, or a sweet treat at Our Little Beach Cafe. Or head to Lake Powell Pizza and grab a slice of pizza, try a fantastic pasta bowl, or relax with a glass of draft beer or wine. 

Dining isn’t just a thing you can do in Downtown Carillon. You can shop for clothes, beach supplies, and anything else at Shipwreck General Store. You may want to keep that beach body in its best shape. You can do all of the above at Paradise Fitness Gym. 

If it’s relaxation and pampering you’re looking for, look no further than Salon Bailage and Spa. You can enjoy a manicure, or pedicure, get your hair cut or colored, try one of their several body masques, or get a deep tissue or hot stone massage. 

You can also be entertained by family-friendly live music weekly on the Village Green. 

Explore Lake Carillon, Bellview Park, and More

If getting out and enjoying nature is more your style, there’s plenty of that to go around at Carillon Beach. Observe the many wildlife species or join a yoga class at heart-shaped Lake Carillon. Hang out at Florida’s largest coastal dune lake, Lake Powell. 

Bellview Park is open only to Carillon Beach residents and has two swimming pools (heated during the winter), two tennis courts, and a basketball court, providing countless hours of fun.

• Dune Walkover #6- has the least number of steps and is close to the Wellness Pavillion
• Dune Walkover #7- a beach wedding favorite, located close to the Lake Carillon pool
• Dune Walkover #8- close to the Children’s Pavillion
